KATHUA: The three-day training program hosted by Chief Education Office Kathua on JK PAYSYS, BEAMS, GeM Portal, JKCPIS and Aadharshila for DDO / HOI and other district stakeholders culminated here today.
The farewell ceremony took place at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua.
The program was started on the instructions of Principal Secretary of Government BK Singh and was organized under the leadership of Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director of School Education.
Sanjeev Vaid, Principal of the School, welcomed Chief Guest Praksh Lal Thappa, Director of Education Kathua and Special Guest Mahesh Sharma, Account Manager, Jammu School Education Directorate, as well as ‘other dignitaries and guests.
He presented a brief report on the three-day training program and shared valuable information about the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO motivated students, the teaching community and other department officials to use technology platforms to bring transparency and accountability into the system and facilitate smooth implementation of government programs.
The chief accountant of the Jammu School Education Branch, who was the special guest on the occasion, asked the DDOs to use the funds wisely and in a time-bound manner in order to maximize the benefits. He said 70% of the funds were to be used by December 31, 2021 as directed by the government.
Satinder Singh Pathania, District Budget Team Leader, presented the official vote of thanks on the occasion.
