Netgear has introduced a new router to its award-winning WiFi 6E lineup. Building on the success of the 2021 CES Innovation Award-winning Nighthawk RAXE500, the Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router delivers speeds of up to 7.8Gbps while taking advantage of the new era of fast connectivity on the 6 Ghz band, without interference or congestion.

The pandemic has irreversibly accelerated global reliance on Wi-Fi, as working, learning, and video streaming from home have continued to place unprecedented demands on home Wi-Fi networks. Devices in these ultra-connected homes have been in a constant struggle for bandwidth on congested WiFi networks, underscoring the need for the new, clean 6Ghz band. NETGEAR’s WiFi 6E offering helps solve these congestion issues by adding previously unavailable 6 GHz WiFi spectrum that can be used as an express lane to connect more devices with faster speeds and reliability.

Winner of the CES 2022 Innovations Award, the Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-Band WiFi Router delivers a combined WiFi speed of 7.8 Gbps with the new 6 GHz band for customer WiFi 6E devices and bandwidth-intensive applications at a exceptional price. With eight Wi-Fi streams, this latest addition to the Nighthawk line of performance routers delivers Gigabit+ Wi-Fi speeds in any home up to 2,500 square feet.

The router’s sleek design houses six pre-optimized antennas for unmatched WiFi signal strength, coverage, and performance. It also has a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port that can be used to provide Gigabit+ Internet connectivity by connecting to an Internet modem or to connect over the LAN to a high-bandwidth device such as a network storage share. There are also 5 additional Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections to other home devices and IoT hubs. The RAXE300 complements NETGEAR’s current WiFi 6E offering for sophisticated smart homes, which includes the RAXE500 and the recently announced Orbi Quad-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System (RBKE963), also a CES Innovation Awards 2022 winner.

Speaking about the launch, Marthesh Nagendra, Country Manager India, ME & SAARC, NETGEAR said, “In the current scenario, customers are looking to upgrade their home broadband services to speeds above 1Gbps and they don’t don’t want speeds restricted by old WiFi 5. connections to create a barrier. To overcome these hassles, at NETGEAR we offer our customers Nighthawk WiFi 6E routers to deliver Gigabit+ speeds to their WiFi 6 and latest WiFi 6E devices for the best possible performance.

internet always on:

The NETGEAR Orbi 5G WiFi 6 Mesh System (NBK752) – the industry’s first tri-band 5G mesh system – joins the list of winners for this year’s CES 2022 Innovation Awards. Already available to consumers, the Orbi NBK752 Mesh System can be used for always-on broadband, either as a primary Internet connection or as a backup in the event of wireline Internet service failures. Its flexibility is ideal for second or vacation homes, temporary job sites, or anywhere wired Internet service isn’t required year-round. Tri-band Wi-Fi ensures a dedicated Wi-Fi connection between the router and the satellite to deliver unrelenting speeds throughout your home, no matter how many devices are connected at the same time. And accessing a 5G network is easy because it works with most major mobile service providers, including T-Mobile and AT&T.

Price and availability:

The NETGEAR Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router will be available in the first quarter of 2022 from the company’s official website and other retailers at an MSRP of $399.99.

NETGEAR Orbi 5G WiFi 6 Mesh System (NBK752) – 2-Pack, $1,099.99 MSRP and will be available from the company’s official website.
