Information Technology Learning Hub (ITLH), a fast-growing incubator that helps students learn coding and design (UI and UX) skills, has announced the start of its scholarship program. This program aligns with the philosophy of World Youth Skills Day, as this ITLH initiative is strategically channeled to create skilled professionals capable of designing innovative User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI). Through this program, ITLH aspires to reach some of the deserving candidates who are interested in design as a career and wish to pursue a career in the field of user interface and user experience. Any student pursuing a degree, as well as any professional working directly or indirectly involved in the field of digital design with at least six months of work experience, is eligible to apply for the program.
Alex George, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ITLH, said: “This World Youth Skills Day will be different for many young people. It is presented as a celebration of the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. The significance of the day and what we intend to do at the ITLH fits like a glove; the rooted ethos is the same. Our scholarship program strives to reach deserving applicants and reward them with a place in our Center of Excellence. We hope that on this World Youth Skills Day, we can make a difference through our initiative.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must be able to demonstrate suitability in the pre-assessment test conducted by the ITLH administration. This test will assess the candidate’s inclination and knowledge towards UI and UX design and knowledge of digital interfaces. Ten meritorious applicants would get a seat under the scholarship scheme.
