New Delhi: Internshala Trainings celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2022 by organizing various hands-on learning sessions for Indian youth. The event aimed to encourage young Indians to upskill and become employable. The event started with an engaging session on internship preparation and CV writing with Singapore-based educator and entrepreneur Tripta Singh. She talked about various aspects of resume creation from the purpose, the format, various details to add in a resume, and the do’s and don’ts of adding details, to how to make your resume strong. and stand out in front of employers. The session ended with a question-and-answer session with the participating students.
The CV writing session was followed by an in-depth discussion with accomplished HR professionals, Anjali Rathore, Senior HR at Meesho and Avishek Chatterjee, Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition at Leap Finance. The session discussed what recruiters are looking for in their potential candidates and also shared tips on how to approach the different rounds of recruitment.
After the HR roundtable, an exciting Riddle competition was held for the participating learners, followed by an engaging workshop on intraday trading by Dr. Abhijeet Birari, an avid trader and stock market trainer for over a decade. He has a doctorate. in the derivatives market and an MBA in finance.
The event ended with an inspiring session with a 17-year-old entrepreneur, Aniket Kakde, who started his journey with e-learning while still pursuing his 5th grade. He shared how he learned in-demand skills like web development, app development, and motion graphics through e-learning. Starting his e-learning journey early, Aniket was able to land an internship while in 8th standard and built a robot. He currently runs his own company, Anfosys, which aims to educate students, farmers and rural communities about innovation and technology.
