IIM Kashipur Launches Executive MBA Program in Analytics – India Education | Latest Education News | World Education News


Kashipur: Indian Institute of Management Kashipur has inaugurated its Executive Master of Business Administration in Analytics (EMBA Analytics) for the class of 2022-24 at its Kashipur campus. Professor Kulbhushan Balooni, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur, Senior Guest of the Programme, Mr. Manoj Nair, MD, Accenture India, and Mr. Anish Srikrishna, CEO, Times Professional Learning (Marketing Partner of the Programme) have signaled their departures the program with an on-campus event.
The EMBA Analytics program, announced earlier this year, received tremendous response and 95 students were selected for the first batch. EMBAA students average nine years of work experience in a variety of industries, including ITES, IT, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and aviation, to name a few. Overall, female candidates contribute up to 20% of the lot with an average professional experience of 101 months. The program will consist of 900 contact hours spread over six terms over 24 months. Each term is preceded by a Campus immersion and learning module. The first three terms include core courses, while the fourth, fifth, and sixth terms include core courses and electives. The courses introduce and equip the participant with analytical and management concepts.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director of Indian Institute of Management Kashipur said, “I am immensely proud to mention that IIM Kashipur is the first institute to embark on a two-year MBA (Analytics) program. Building on this foundation and the huge number of applications received for this program, we launched the Executive MBA Analytics program to benefit mid-career executives as well. This program will create a good understanding for learners using data and technology to advance their management and career goals. »
This blended learning program will train aspirants in technical skills, business fundamentals, management practices, leadership and strategy, as well as contemporary skills specific to Business Analytics. Additionally, it equips participants with the cross-functional skills needed to succeed in Industry 4.0.
