Jammu: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu will hold its 5th Annual Convocation 2022 on 09 June 2022 at the Convention Centre, Gulami Bagh, Canal Road, Jammu. Shri Ramnath Kovind, Hon’ble President of India will be the guest of honor on the occasion and deliver the convocation speech. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Honorable Minister of State (MoS I/c), Govt. of India, and Shri Manoj Sinha, the Honorable Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) will be the guest of honor on this occasion.
Dr. Chandrajit Banerjee, Chief Executive of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Shri Ravi Kumar Narra, President of the Indian Dalit Chamber of Commerce (DICCI) will be the special guests on this occasion. The event will be chaired by Dr. Milind Kamble, Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIM Jammu. Prof. BS Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu will present the Director’s Report highlighting the achievements of the Institute.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. BS Sahay, Principal of IIT Jammu said, “Convocation is a celebration of graduation for students who have graduated through significant learning during their MBA program, and the institute values their live participation. We are very happy that the Honorable President of India Shri Ramnath Kovind has consented to honor the occasion and address the graduate students”.
A total of 214 students will receive a Master of Business Administration (MBA) this year. The highlight of the call is that 77 female students will receive the diplomas. IIM Jammu will award President’s Gold Medal, Principal’s Silver Medal and MBA President’s Bronze Medal to deserving students for their academic performance. On this occasion, the Honorable President of India will inaugurate the Diversity Unit at IIM Jammu.
