Garmin Vivomove Sport smartwatch launched in India


Garmin has launched a new Vivomove Sport smartwatch in India. This is a high-end fitness device from Garmin that offers features like blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, stress monitoring, and more. The device is priced below the Rs 20,000 segment and will be seen competing with Fitbit Versa 3 and others.

The Garmin Vivomove Sport smartwatch comes with a starting price of Rs 18,990. The wearable will be sold in three colors including black, cool mint and ivory. The laptop is already available for purchase in the United States. The company will also bring a new Cocoa-colored model, which will be available in the near future.

Garmin Vivomove Sport: Specs, Features

The Garmin Vivomove Sport only comes in one size and that’s a 40mm watch face. It comes with silicone wristbands. The wearable has an OLED panel and analog hands. You get a touchscreen, and the smartwatch has a fiber-reinforced polymer chassis. Garmin claims that the front of the watch is protected by chemically strengthened glass.

It comes with features like heart rate monitoring, stress monitoring, etc. The company claims users will get up to five days of battery life in smartwatch mode and six days of battery life in watch mode. We will be able to consult their telephone notifications, their calls and their SMS. The new Garmin watch can also be connected to Android and iPhones.

It can also track your sleep patterns, menstrual cycle and pregnancy, according to the company. The brand also claims that the new smartwatch can monitor your hydration level and offer data on at least eight sports activities. The Garmin Vivomove Sport comes with sports modes like yoga, strength, pilates, cardio, treadmill, cycling, and more. Interestingly, the company claims that the watch can also indicate wearers’ fitness age based on age, exercise level, resting heart rate, VO2 Max, and more.
