Awiros, the One-of-a-kind operating system (OS) and marketplace for AI-based video intelligence solutions will provide advanced video analytics for high-resolution surveillance cameras for the bangalore Safe city project. The project to enhance law and order for the citizens of Bengaluru especially women in the city is being implemented under the Bengaluru City Police (BCP). Bangalore is one of eight Indian cities chosen by the Home Ministry to create a safe, secure and empowering environment for women and girls in public places. and is supported by the Central Nirbhaya of government initiative. Honeywell Automation India is the Master Systems Integrator (MSI) of Bengaluru project.
Based on Awiros AI Video Intelligence platform, facial recognition system, automatic license plate recognition, and other Video AI applications will allow the analysis of video feeds from more than 7000 cameras spread over more than 3000 locations in the city of Bangalore. The video analysis system provided by Awiros will process and analyze video streams and identify persons and vehicles of interest in accordance with city police requirements. This will enable the Bangalore City Police to undertake real-time situational monitoring and analysis, and take timely action for any potential crimes committed by offenders for the security of citizens, especially women and children.
